An independent voice for ethical adoption
The USCIS Office of Public Engagement and the USCIS International Operations Division, in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of State (DOS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), will be hosting a national conference call with adoptive parents, prospective adoptive parents and Adoption Service Provides to provide information and updates on the process for Haitian adoptions and parole, including scheduling appointments at the Embassy and flight arrangements out of Haiti as well as the back end process once children arrive in the U.S. Additional general questions or concerns regarding Haitian adoptions policy will also be addressed.
We recognize that some people on this list may have already successfully been united with their adoptive or prospective adoptive children, but they may nonetheless find some of the information on the call helpful.
We will open the call for general questions regarding the process. Parents or prospective adoptive parents who have case-specific questions may contact us through our e-mail box at Haitianadoptions@dhs.gov
